How our Compilation CD Projects Work:

Submission Process:

The Submission Process is Absolutely Free! We do not charge you to listen to your music. Due to the vast number of submissions we receive, we may not be able to get back to you unless you are chosen for one of our Compilations. But we do listen to Every Submission We Receive. If you have a cut that we know we can get airplay for, we will definitely let you know about it..

We will only review artists that submit complete Contact Information and MySpace address. One of our staff members will listen to Your Music and review your posted materials. IF we, in our sole discretion, feel that your music would be a suitable fit for one of our Compilation CD's, we will contact you.

At the present time, we are ONLY accepting Submissions from artists that have MySpace pages. If you also have your own web site, please list this in the submission form above. But only Artists with Music on MySpace will be reviewed by GeeThirteen.com Records personnel.

If your music is selected, you will receive basic information on how to be included on one of our CDs. It will be entirely your choice as to whether you want to have Your Music included on a Nationally Distributed and Promoted CD. We offer you US Radio Airplay and Worldwide Exposure online.

There is a FEE to be included on one of our Compilation CDs, (see Pricing below). At the same time, there is a huge BENEFIT to being included as well. We promote the hell out of our CDs and get Airplay for the Songs we put on them!

Manufacturing:

We have multiple projects in the pipeline at any given time. Each CD release is it's own unique product that is created, packaged and marketed as a unit. Our CDs feature between 8 to 12 artists, and each artist may purchase up to 3 tracks per CD. Maximum length for each song is 4 minutes.

CD packaging will include Artist Name, Location, Track Name(s), Contact Information, Web and MySpace address. All songs included on our Compilations must meet FCC Standards for Broadcast Airplay. If you are selected to be included you must provide radio edits for your music that excludes any objectionable material.

Turnaround for each of our projects is 3 to 5 weeks. Once we receive the CDs from the pressing plant, we package and ship them to the industry. We then turn the project over to our team of promoters to generate exposure. Our current goal is to release 6 Compilations in 2008, although we have capacity to release a new CD once every two to three weeks.

Promotion:

More than 300 Hip-Hop Stations and Specialty shows are serviced with the CD. We then follow up with an 8 week promotion campaign that tracks airplay and response. All artists included on each CD will receive full tracking reports and a summary at the end of the campaign.

More than 200 Music editors, bloggers, writers and reviewers are also sent a copy. Hundreds of 'Net Radio and Music outlets will receive your materials and encouraged to review your music. Each CD will have it's own "page" within our site, with links and reviews posted from online markets playing your music. In all, more than 500 radio stations and music outlets are serviced with each of our projects.

In addition to exposure, we provide you with an honest reporting of your music. Who likes it, who doesn't, where you are well received, and where you need work. We can also show you regional hot spots where you can further your promotions and pursue more opportunities to enhance your exposure.

Agreements:

If you are selected and choose to participate, we will provide you with an agreement with us that spells everything out. You will also need to provide a mechanical waiver for any samples you may be using. Each of our Compilations are for promotional use only, and we do not collect or receive any royalties.

Participating in one of our Compilation CD projects is one of the many promotion and marketing services GeeThirteen.com Records offers. We are not, (at this time) offering any recording contracts or soliciting investments. We're here to give you an opportunity to get a great deal of exposure for a reasonable price.

We are offering you our services to develop your name and further market your brand. No matter what other efforts you may taking at this moment, participating in one of our projects can only enhance your marketing strategy. Our Compilations Get Airplay! We can get airplay for you.

Pricing, Reservation and Payment:

CLOSING DATE for our Next CD is AUGUST 15, 2008.

One Song: $ 500.00
Two Songs: $ 900.00
Three Songs: $1,200.00

Artists must provide music, contact information and full payment to reserve space on our next CD project. Track order is determined on a first come basis, in the order we receive your Deposit. A $250.00 deposit is required to reserve track space with the balance of your order due with your CD and Signed Agreement. Pressing for each project is ordered as soon as we fill each CD. We have capacity to release and promote a new CD once every two to three weeks.

Because we have projects in the pipeline all the time, opportunities always exist to be on one of our Compilation CDs.
